Jeanette Jones, founder of Art Downunder, is an award-winning Australian artist whose passion for creativity began in childhood. She was the Open Award Winner at the 45th Hinchinbrook Art Awards and later honoured as a Judge at the 46th Hinchinbrook Art Awards, recognising her artistry and experience.
Jeanette’s works have been showcased in art galleries on the Sunshine Coast, Qld in both Montville and Noosa, where her landscapes continue to inspire.
Specialising in oil painting, Jeanette works across oils, acrylics, and mixed media to capture the essence of Australia. Her inspiration comes from the boundless Australian outback, the pristine coastal beaches, and the lush, green rainforests that define Australia’s beauty. She also enjoys creating commissioned artworks, working closely with clients to capture their vision in a timeless piece. With a passion for both art and teaching, Jeanette loves to encourage and inspire others to explore their own creativity.
